This is a great local yarns shop and if I lived in Alaska it would be my local yarn shop. There is a fabulous selection of a wide variety of yarns like Rowan and Cascade. This shop does not have Alaskan yarns, it's not their thing so keep that in mind.
Lady behind the counter was super helpful
The old woman that was there tonight was not welcoming and came off annoyed that I was interrupting her time talking to some little boy sitting near the check out area. I visited this shop a few years ago and there was a wonderful woman who helped me purchased knitting needles, but this old woman on the other hand wanted nothing to do with me.
Kay helped me pick out yarn for a specific project and ordered the exact one she helped me pick! She was very friendly and helpful!
This is the quaintest gem of a yarn store! The variety and quality surpass expectations!! The store staff and extremely knowledgeable, helpful and kind. The addition of fun gifts and unique patterns make it the ONLY place to shop for yarn here in Anchorage ***** !
