I have been studying with William Yeung for about 1 year. He intergrates Tai Chi and Chi Gung into our lessons. We begin with warming up with Chi Gung exercises. As we go through our Chi Gung and Tai Chi exercises, Mr. Yeung explains the purpose and application of each movement. Mr. Yeung also allows time on exercise equipment that is on hand to help stretch, develop, and strengthen the body. I am currently a student learning Tai Chi at the Happy Ocean Tai Chi Academy. We learn and practice many forms of tai chi such as the tai-chi circle, various kicks, footwork, stretches, and more. We also learn different traits such as self-defense, self-discipline, responsibility, respect, and more. The class has a unique way of learning how to read, write, and speak Chinese.
