Fantastic Sams in Hopkins is the best place I have ever found for getting my hair cut , foiled , or dyed. Vonnie and Kanara are both excellent stylists and I would never go anywhere else. I have been going there for a number of year. Washing your hair is include in the very reasonable pricing. If you sign up for their e-mails you get great coupons. Janis

I would agree with the comments on the service. Overall this location is not very great with customer service. I think they are fine with skills. And there are a few stylists that are friendly. But some. Wow. The bitchy look on their faces. Amazing. That's not going to help business! It's always something there- several times I have gone there and they say hi but don't immediately come up to help. This is not a very well run salon compared to the other Fantastic Sam's I have been to. The haircuts are just as good as the others. Some of them just started sitting you down to ask you what you want before the hair washing. How can you tell them when your head is wet? They could be more professional but I still go here because the cuts are fine, it is a convenient location, and they have senior cuts Monday and Tuesday for $10.99 from 9:00 to 3:00. Fantastic Sams, Hopkins, MN – Yesterday, May 24th, 2011, I went to this establishment for a haircut and shampoo. When I walked in an employee, washing someone's hair, said; "Hi" and continued with her shampooing. I stood at the register to check in for about 10 minutes and no one came to sign me in. No one else was waiting so I sat down assuming I would be next. I took and chair and waited for another 15 minutes and no one asked me why I was there. Good experience – I will say Front Desk Customer Service was very nice to me. The girl who cut me hair MEREDITH, did a great job- She is one of the best but there is always learning curve.. She did exactly as I told her.. One thing i dont like about Salons in US is that they are always in a rush- In England barbers/hair dressers take the sweet time and give them input and recommendation on style change.. Here its more like Wam Bam Good bye Mam... But yes MEREDITH is one of the best hair stylists I ever came across....

Poor Customer Service – Very Rude, waited forever!!! Not friendly, talked about personal matters and talked bad about other co workers. I will never come here ever again!

Fantastic Sam's Does it again! – I broke my arm a few months back and had an engagement I couldn't miss that night. I walked in and asked if they could curl my hair and put my make up on me. I couldn't move my hand and I was in tears. She went above and saved the day for me. I brought my daughter to a local salon just last night for cutting her bangs. She requested going just to her eyes. They cut them way on top on the forehead. She left crying. We drove to FS & they were close to closing the doors and made her bangs right ... read more

A "NOT RECOMMENDED" Salon – If you want poor customer service, unprofessional stylists, low quality service on cuts and colors, than this is the salon for you. The staff was constantly checking their cell phones, discussing personal matters that were inappropriate, and simply not professional. For the price they charge for the services, you'd expect great quality hair care in terms of attentiveness to patrons wants and needs, and how they handle patrons hair-not the case. I would not recommend this place for anyone.
