It's been awhile since I saw Fania Lee as a therapist so this is probably a little bit silly writing a review this late. Fania Lee wasn't a bad therapist but I still wouldn't recommend her. I had thought that we'd merely had some personal differences throughout some of her our sessions which is why we didn't seem to connect. She completely annihilate the feelings of my boyfriend when he went to see her, never made it seem like she cared , questioning everything he says and making him feel like he was lying it was sooo uncomfortable and dirty not suitable for people seeking mental advice. And her attitude needs a major revision if she’s hoping to keep seeing people. Don’t waste your money ppl. She doesn’t even clean the place enough to care or have compassion for the people that walk through her door. I would rate it 0 stars if I could.
Didn’t feel like she cared about my concerns at all, was just another paycheck for her to cash. The place was filthy as well, could have used some vacuuming and dusting done to it. Not a safe environment for someone seeking mental health issues advice.
I visited with Fania Lee while she did video appointments (no longer available for that I believe) and found her to be empathetic and helpful. Borderline personality disorder is a terrible illness to have and while I'm still a long way from remission, I have less anxiety and impulsivity. During the months of video visits I was rather depressed and so I was skipping my makeup routine most of the time that she'd complimented me on and the video camera made me look like a gargoyle.
