The service was excellent. The food was well prepared, but average.
sushi is so good it made me switch from vegetarian to pescatarian, 10/10 will eat here again.

Been living in Surf City since 2012. Somehow didn't make it to Fancy Sushi until 2026. That's on me. First visit — loved it. Clean, good staff, food came out right. No sticky floors, no attitude, no drama. Just good food and people who actually want to be there. Came back a second time after seeing a Facebook post about some customers who thought it was acceptable to not pay and then have the nerve to be rude about it. That post brought me back in the door.
