Since I've moved to Vancouver on 1987, this Famous Foods has always been here! They must be doing something right cause my wife had been coming here for the past 25yrs since we've been together. Famous Foods is known for their meats, and better pricing than Whole Foods! 1. Grass fed beef 2. Organic chicken and chicken wings ($2.99 / lb) 3. Non medicated pork Free street parking!
Im disabled and require the lift to access the shopping but the staff were very friendly and helpful and I had no wait to arrive or leave. I love the storage jars they carry for kitchen goods, as well as the mini bags of lavender and hyssop
No idea about this place at all. Never heard of it, but apparently I drove past it or something and Google demands a review. They sell food for money, I assume they have various types of edible items, and probably some beverages. Guessing they have staff and accept various forms of payment. I ranked them as a 3 star because without actually knowing the place, i just can't saying they are good or bad. But anyways, moose is delicious
New bike racks! I think these are new and check all of my boxes: visible from the door, the right rack type for maximum security, even a bit undercover. I appreciate that Famous Foods grasps cyclists are actually an important and disproportionately profitable segment of grocery shoppers (check the data!). 2L milk - Nesters Market $6.69, Save On Foods $6.99, Famous $8.89. That’s nearly $2 per 2L jug. Come on guys you’re not a Yaletown Urban Fare, even they beat you @ $7.89. Will take this review down when pricing improve$.
