All items now are more expensive than they used to be or elsewhere. Good choices of dried goods, spices, BUT pricey. Almond milk twice as much as anywhere else. I used to love going there for flour etc but not worth the trip.
Friendly staff, quality products, and a clean shopping environment make this one of my preferred grocery stores. The produce is fresh, the shelves are consistently stocked, and the store is organized in a way that makes shopping easy. I always leave satisfied with my purchases.
Since I've moved to Vancouver on 1987, this Famous Foods has always been here! They must be doing something right cause my wife had been coming here for the past 25yrs since we've been together. Famous Foods is known for their meats, and better pricing than Whole Foods! 1. Grass fed beef 2. Organic chicken and chicken wings ($2.99 / lb) 3. Non medicated pork Free street parking!
Great community grocery store with a fantastic selection of meats and an expansive selection of dried and dehydrated foods. It's my go-to place when putting together meals for backpacking trips. The one area that can be underwhelming is the produce section which is relatively small.
Lovely store, easy layout to navigate. Great selection of natural health products with great prices, helpful staff.
