The service tech was kind but ... Had the tech come to check my washer as it was unbalanced load error codes... he suggested an $800 dollar motor repair which I declined... paid the service fee... then went to start a load of laundry and just deal with the errors until I could replace the washer... lifted the washer lid and it was broken at the hinge... called and asked them if he broke it and neglected to tell me... his answer was no... so yeah... I wouldn't recommend people let alone a company that would not or prefers not... read more
Called regarding my electric range, Jake Marriott from the North Salt Lake office showed up the next day and knew exactly what was wrong. One of my heating elements went out. Received a call the next day and an appointment was set up for two days later, Jake showed up again with the part and within 20 minutes it was exchanged. Both times Jake showed up was exactly in the time window given. I’ll call Famous Appliances in the future if I have any problems.
Scam company! Worst company I have ever dealt with! I called Famous Appliance Service to fix my oven that stopped working last December. The technician showed up and told me he knew exactly what was wrong with it and that he needed to order parts. Two months later I call to find out what's going on with the part that was ordered and they ask me if I would like it installed the next day (meaning they had it sitting there for two months and didn't call me).
