We are deeply disheartened and disappointed by our most recent experience at Famosos—a place that has long held a special place in our family’s heart. Since its opening, we have celebrated countless family gatherings and large parties here. The staff once knew us by name, and the atmosphere always felt like home. I am allergic to gluten. I told the waitress when we ordered our food. I paid the extra cost for the gluten free crust I asked if the crutons could be left off the side Caesar salad - she said the chef was going to make the salad for me without croutons. It was easy to do The pizza was great - came on the gluten free crust as ordered. The salad had a couple crutons PICKED OFF the top and the rest still left at the bottom of the bowl. You know what…. The pizza wasn’t the greatest this time. Very tough crust, was definitely overcooked. Still 5 stars because the other 10-11 times we’ve been here it’s been very good. Everyone that we’ve encountered here is super friendly, and it’s always a great dining experience, it’s hard to be perfect ALL the time so we’ll definitely be back, just missed the mark this time.
