Whoever is making the pizza, doesn't know how to make the pizza. I thought something felt off when I picked up the box. A 12" Neapolitan pizza shouldn't be heavy. It isn't made with fior di latte, a creamy premium dairy product, it is made with a fistful of cheap pizza mozzarella. And who puts fresh basil on a pizza BEFORE it goes into the oven. Mmmm... I had originally written a wonderful review for this place until an unfortunate bad experience. (I’ve eaten at this chain at many other spots for years now.) The first time I ate at this one two weeks ago, I ordered a prosciutto arugula pizza that looked like the one off the main Famoso Instagram picture which I posted. Tonight I got the same pizza that looked like this, and the taste reflected the appearance. Jane was an extraordinary server, she went above and beyond. The food we had was great, no doubt about that. However, my dissatisfaction is with the franchise itself, they took all my favourites off their menu. The Shrimp Pesto Pizza and the Caprese Salad. The only reason I go to any of the locations to begin with for the last 7 years. So I probably won’t be going much anymore.
