We needed some updated electrical work done and, during the process, discovered a few additional items that needed attention. What I really appreciated was that there was no pressure to do the extra work, we were simply given the facts and an explanation of what was needed. We’ve used Family’s Choice for various jobs for several years. They did a major wiring job at our old home for a detached garage, and more recently the conversion of an enclosed lanai to a family/tv room. Unfortunately, we recently had to move to another house so we called on them again. Dalton came out and fine tuned this place for us, relocating tv outlets, adding the needed features to move our mini split a/c unit, and even finding bad breakers that needed replacing. The gal doing the scheduling, said they wouldn’t gouge me with the quote. $159 for the connection of a single wire in a GFI. The guy wanted an additional $500 to install a ceiling fan/light. The unit cost only $600. I had a handyman do it for $100. It took him 20 minutes. My impression is, that this company is a rip off.
