Have rented many movies from Family Video, and I have received a couple dirty fingerprint DVDS, which I easily cleaned myself, but on the whole of all my rentals, I've had great services and rentals. I had a difficulty in playing a new release, one day, but I fixed it by updating my blue Ray device. That easily took care of my problem. You have to keep your new technology equipment updated, just like you need to do for your PC. I enjoy getting my rentals from Family Video
My family and I love to watch movies. Every movie we would rent would constantly skip. We've rented a lot of movies thinking the next one won't skip... but it does. We've got movies the day they came out were no other person has rented them before us but still ends up skipping. They obviously don't take precautions while recasing them. I recommend not renting a movie through them and just get Netflix I had switched over to them and had no problems what so ever.
