They hold your tax results hostage until you pay them. They are nothing like the last man that I worked with for years but unfortunately he passed away. I would sit beside him as he entered my info. He would go over what I had In the previous years and compared to the current year, it would tell How much I owed or what I was getting back and then told me what I owed.

The cost of their services are more than HR block without the guarantee. I normally do my own taxes, but they became complicated due to marriage and other issues. Our tax person insisted that we were eligible for the recovery rebate from a previous year. It was her suggestion, so we trusted her judgment.
