Waited for half hour for waitress. Then she finally comes over after taking care of people that came after us. And whinned she was by herself. If she would've came over and said sorry I'm behind I wouldn't make a stink about. Other girls have worked by themselves.
Fried Chicken?!!! Come on Northwest Iowa, it’s “Broasted Chicken”. I live in West Des Moines now but Cherokee is my hometown and I lived in Northwest Iowa for fifty years. I moved to Des Moines and they have for the most part never heard of broasted chicken. There’s a difference between fried and broasted chicken. My mom made delicious “fried” chicken but there are many excellent, down-to-earth, good old-fashioned friendly restaurants in NW Iowa that serve “broasted” chicken. The Family Table is one of those restaurants!!
