Horrible first time experience. I was lied to multiple times and was accused of things that never happened. Truly not surprised there's multiple lawsuits against them. If the parents knew what was really going on at this agency I'm sure there would be more lawsuits. Sadly for them I keep all documentation so if I wanted to move forward with a case of my own I can. I already reported them to the state.
I had a very disappointing experience with Family Solutions. The service was unprofessional, and I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously. Communication was poor, and I didn't see the support I expected. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company based on my experience. Extremely dissatisfied.
This place is honestly a glorified babysitter. I am sure the staff mean well but its honestly not a good place to send your kids. They cant even keep your kids safe like a babysitter would. If you send your kid to them, they will just learn all the bad behaviors from the other kids that are present. Kids copy what others do. They say they cant "restrain" your child unless they are in danger, but they let your kids run out in the street and around the neighborhood, which I am pretty sure puts them in danger... The experience my son has had here has been fabulous. The staff are the most patient souls you will ever meet. Regular school was torture to my son. I was loosing my sweet loving boy and family solutions has helped him find himself again. The only thing that could make the family solutions better would be if he could stay through graduation.
There are some very good people working there that I think mean well. However, our child’s experience was horrible. She started during the Covid pandemic, and at first we were sure that the staff shortages and constantly having her stay home because there wasn’t enough staff was due to the pandemic. But after the crisis passed, we then found out that they were too short staffed to keep the Ashland center opened.
