I have no direct/personal experience with Nicole, but as a psych nurse practitioner I do not hesitate to refer patients to her. I just had one such referral leave my office. I have seen Nicole on and off for several years. Her insights are keen, and she always offers useful, practical suggestions to help me deal with issues I'm struggling with. I travel from Issaquah to Vancouver every so often when I need her advice.
Nicole is extremely well-versed in the use of DBT for individuals, couples and families struggling with personality and mood disorders, and she is also an expert in working with the families of children with Oppositional Defiance Disorder. I regularly refer clients to Nicole who are in need of her areas of expertise and have turned to her for a professional consult on more than one occasion. Nicole is warm, open, and funny, as well as insightful and nonjudgmental! I highly recommend her.
Nicole Laurent is one of the great therapists. She is amazing at individual therapy, couples counseling and for mental health "check ups" for kids and teens. I have personally benefited from her skills as an individual, but have also referred many clients to her who are struggling with their family system.
