I have been a patient of Dr Economous for 19 years. I've had some ups and downs with my health. Dr Economous has always been great at diagnostics and truly cares about patients. When I was admitted to Salem Hospital, he came to check on me. Like all doctors, he is facing challenges due to health insurance providers and rising costs, so please remember this when judging him. I love the care he has given me and truly respect him.

I have watched this physician poorly manage my grandparents care over the last several years. He tries to handle multiple comorbidities on his own rather than consulting other doctors for their expertise. There are doctors that specialize in lungs, heart, diabetes but apparently he feels that he specializes in all of them and does an extremely inadequate job at it. There is nothing worse than a physician that doesn’t know or respect their own limitations and unfortunately the patient is the one who ultimately suffers.
If he is your Doctor best advice is get a new one.
