Where do I begin? It started with a stroke in 2024. Still to this day have i yet to see a specialist. I have asked for referrals, updates on my current situation and nothing. I went for a 2 minute meet and greet at the Tri Wellness Medical Center and low and behold, 15 minutes later, I was given different prescriptions, added prescriptions and a lot of paperwork for referrals. Doctor Amen is the WORST. Don't even bother. Update October 2025: I now have other patients of Dr Amen contacting me with their own horror stories of her medical practice. It's worse than I imagined. She's actively telling patients they don't qualify for disability when they didnt even bring it up. Refusing to refer patients to specialists for heart conditions. Steer clear. Update July 2025: I took my 5 year old son into the ER due to strep throat. Dr Amen examined and swabbed him, she told me it doesn't look like strep and ... read more

Doctor Amen is the WORST. Don't even bother. Update July 2025: I took my 5 year old son into the ER due to strep throat. Dr Amen examined and swabbed him, she told me it doesn't look like strep and we HAVE TO wait for swabs to come back before antibiotics. My son had the worst strawberry tongue my pharmacist had ever seen, that's why we went to the hospital. My 5 year old suffered another 48 hours until swabs returned back POSITIVE FOR STREP. Show up 30 minutes after your appointment and then you will only be about 10 minutes early. Phone appointment. The Dr., Misses the time slot and calls after clinic is closed and I can't return call. Good job.
