Dr. Schmidt was apparently unwilling to reschedule appointments due to work and basketball schedules. Therefore he dropped me. Regardless, He seemingly had a very condescending attitude towards me and acted as though I didn’t know my body. He could never solve my eczema problems and sent me to dermatologists who never could solve the issues because they didn’t want to get to the root cause . They will never get your prescription on time and send it to the right location. You need to call them at least three times to get anything done.
Recently, Dr. Schmidt lost his sense of professionalism. I had two unprofessional interactions with him in the past year. He thought it was okay to belittle and speak to me in a very rude manner. Maybe he should learn “personal accountability” as he likes to say. The nurse apologized for the interaction once he left the room. If his own staff recognizes it, something needs to change. I am 96 years old and In my lifetime I have been treated by many and I mean doctors Dr. Schmidt and his staff is one of the finest if not THE finest in his profession. I am very fortunate to have him as my doctor. You will be too.
