I called Family Moving company on short notice because I had found a new place. This moving company were right on time in moving things before I hosted a party. The movers did an excellent job and made sure my valuables were moved safely. I would trust these movers again if I would ever move again
The morning of the move, the Family Moving guys showed up... on time! That seems to be the exception rather than the rule for movers. They were extremely efficient while being careful with my furniture. The job got done as quickly as I could have hoped. I think they rounded up when adding up the time in the end, but everything had gone so smoothly I was very happy with the way the move went.
Great local Chicago movers, they handled our local move in Chicago Gold Coast area. Family Moving & Storage, Inc, did a phenomenal job! Alex, Edwin & Adalberto were just simply AMAZING! I definitely recommend them for your local moving and packing services. Don't look any further than Family Moving & Storage. Thanks again guys for a wonderful job!

Good service great price. I understand they use hourly methods. I just looked at hourly rates and reviews. This made sense. I'm sure other people can do this too.
The absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. Dealing with Josh (manager/owner?) was a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!!!! I have scheduled a move for May 31 which I know is a busy moving day in Chicago. My pick up time was supposed to be between 2 and 4pm. Around 2:30 I called Josh to see about an ETA and he said he'd call me back. I called again at 3pm and got the same answer. I continued to call again at 4:00, 5:00, 6:00, 7:00, and 8:00. Never again would I book them. Ruined my Saturday waiting on these unreliable and unprofessional men! Would never recommend them.
They are a great company to work with! Greg is a great consultant and definitely guided me towards a smooth move. Simple instructions on material and what to expect the day of the move.
