I went in recently to tongie family medicine for a stomach issue, scheduled an appointment with Laura the nurse practitioner thats there on fridays, it was great. She spoke to me like an actual person, showed interest and empathy towards me and my situation, and coached me on what i should do for next steps. Shes great and very professional, positive experience. However, i was there about a year ago with a concern with my heart. He is the worse. He was my primary physician several years ago. Between him and Marcellino you couldn't get any worse health care. At the time I was in intensive outpatient treatment for alcohol and unbeknowst to me he was putting in my medical records that if I wasn't out drinking and doing drugs every night I wouldn't have so many health problems. Dr. Imber is a wonderful internist. In my experience, she has listened to every health concern I have had and answered every question, which is very rare nowadays. Her nurse team is also wonderful - another rare find.

I am absolutely disgusted with this doc and his staff. they are the coldest people. The doc treated me as if he was bored, he didn't even give me the normal checkup. He sat across the room asked a bunch of questions and assumed that I had a certain illness, the test that he took had nothing to do with what he thought I had. He put me on the medication without even making sure that's what I had, which made me extremely sick. When I called him to tell him what was going on, I was connected to his snooty nurse. This guy is a terrible doctor! I called him back into the room last time I was there with my grandson to let him know I was upset with his "bedside manner". He is rude and surley to his patients and not at all interested in what they have to say. I would NEVER again take a child to see him!!!!!!!
