I went in recently to tongie family medicine for a stomach issue, scheduled an appointment with Laura the nurse practitioner thats there on fridays, it was great. She spoke to me like an actual person, showed interest and empathy towards me and my situation, and coached me on what i should do for next steps. I am absolutely disgusted with this doc and his staff. they are the coldest people. The doc treated me as if he was bored, he didn't even give me the normal checkup. He sat across the room asked a bunch of questions and assumed that I had a certain illness, the test that he took had nothing to do with what he thought I had. He put me on the medication without even making sure that's what I had, which made me extremely sick. When I called him to tell him what was going on, I was connected to his snooty nurse. On my fourth day of having a headache, I decided to go to the doctor since this was unusual for me. I had tried my regular Dr., but was unable to get in and decided to give Mr. Weatherford a try. When I went in I found the staff to be cold and uncaring. Mr. Weatherford didn't even ask if I had a history of migraines or headaches. He didn't ask if I'd been drinking enough water, changed any medications, nothing. We talked for less than two minutes before he prescribed me pain killers and sleep aids.
