Both my daughter and I saw Laurilee Reiber at the Cordata Main Family Clinic last week. Separate apps. Great location, lovely clinic with little coffee shop right next door. Minimal wait times, lovely check in staff and nurses and a fabulous physician in Laurilee Reiber. She was very attentive and determined to know all about our different issues and very determined to heal us. My daughter was supposed to be a new patient at this clinic. We had an appointment for 7:20 am. today. This morning, when I left the house, I found on Google maps that their hours start from 8 am. I tried calling, but the automated answer said they were closed. I was already thinking I had mixed up the location or time. I waited in the parking lot for an hour to call them and see where the misunderstanding was, but it turns out we missed the 7:20am. appointment, and I should've gone and tried to open the door. Peace Health made me wait 5 months for a routine exam I needed in January and called today to reschedule because the doctor “won’t be in the office” in 7 days. My new appointment is now 6 months from when I originally requested an appointment with my PCP. Peace Health only cares about profits. They are cancelling appointments because they won’t pay their care team a fair wage, resulting in strikes at the hospital and no staff at their clinics. I brought my son in for a whooping cough test and was told results would be available within 3 to 5 days. It’s now been over a week with no email, no update on my chart, and no phone call. Regardless of the outcome, I have a right to be informed. I expect a prompt update.
