Family Medical Home on Dugas no longer exists. It was bought out by Wellmed and it moved to Military Dr and now off Westover Hills. The office is now in a brand new building and it already has issues. The power had gone out the day of my appointment, so they had to reschedule. The office staff and doctor are nice, but the scheduling dept. is a hot mess. I have been a patient here since I was probably 17 (I’m 23 now) and up until recently I’ve always had a pleasant experience here. However since WellMed took over there’s never any availability for appointments. Every time I have called to get seen just within the next week I am told I have to go to urgent care because they don’t have anything for months on end. I have been very happy with Dr Smith and his entire team. The check in is easy, the roller bed is my favorite, and my back is doing much better.
