Over the last 6 months, I have been seeing Dr. Shrestha for a certain condition. I have been a patient of this office way back when Dr. Khalid was alive. I was told several times that they had submitted prior authorizations for a prescription and it kept being denied. I called up there to let them know the insurance faxed them a prior authorization form (for the second time). I have had a long-term experience from this medical practice. Dr Khalid was my first Dr not long after he started practicing in our area late 80s, early 90s. He was a great Dr & cared about his patients. Dr Khalid died I think in Dec 2018. Dr Shreshta took over for him & is a caring Dr also. He takes time with you during your appointments & looks over any labs you have taken & he will order labs if you have none. I just called about a prescription I have been asking about for days and when I requested the staff (desk secretary) to let the doctor know she proceeded to verbally attack me on the phone. I am a registered nurse who handles medication and insurance dealings regularly so making sure that prescriptions are sent to pharmacies that both carry and can supply at a low cost are what's best for compliance and patients.
