Brenda, the prior authorization paperwork NURSE, changed my diagnosis on 2nd authorization submission, resulting in a complete denial by my insurance company. I would not have known this had I not, after 3 weeks of waiting, called Florida Blue to find out why the medication my DOCTOR prescribed was not being approved. A NURSE should not opine or manipulate diagnoses or medication recommendations. As a patient of Dr. Jennifer Sidey, I must say, that I cannot ask for a more patient, professional, caring physician. She cares enough to spend an extensive amount of time with me to get to hear me and understand my goals for my health needs. She suggested I alter my medication which has made me feel better and increase my energy level. Most physician these days want to pump you full of unnecessary meds, for whatever reason which contain many many side effects.
