I never write reviews, but I decided to write this one to Dr. Fahmy himself in the hopes that he sees it. Dr. Fahmy, if you take the time to read all your reviews, you'll see an overwhelming consensus that patients think highly of YOU. You are in fact a good doctor, and patients like you. All the bad reviews that you are getting are because of your staff. This makes me sad for you because it is your good name and reputation that they are soiling. Today I visited Dr. Fahmy for my annual check-up, and I couldn't be more impressed. He's an exceptional doctor who genuinely cares about his patients. He was warm and approachable, making it easy to discuss any concerns or questions I had. His knowledge and expertise in his field are evident, and I felt confident in his care. I've been a patient of Dr Fahmy & Dr Salib for 16 years. I have a serious disease that had been greatly taken care of all of these years..but sadly I've lost both doctors. Last July a private Co took over Dr Fahmys business & they allowed a web appt for me, took my copay, & I saw Heidi. 2 months later I get billed for a $250 this visit. I call & tell them I made a copay & that it was probably a mistake but was told the Co was sold & dont take your insurance!! Did they not have time to tell me before the appt?? I have been seeing Dr. Fahmy for over 20 years. He is the kindest, nicest doctor I have ever had. He is extremely thorough and I always feel that he spends alot of time with me and asks many questions. He separated from the other doctor this year and it was the best thing he could have ever done. Also, his nurse practicioners are wonderful !!!! I refer all my friends.
As of today, I'm done with this place. This is the 2nd visit now that I've walked out on without being seen. Last month I had an 8:45AM appointment. At 9:17 (32 minutes past my appointment time) and still not seen, I walked to front desk and was rudely told that they are running behind and someone will be with me shortly. At 9:25 I asked again and was told that they are dealing with other patients. So I asked for refund on my co-pay and re-scheduled a month later (today) for the 1st appointment of the day, 8:30AM.
