I WAS A NEW PATIENT TO SEE LINDSEY SMITH IN OCT 2020, AND IT TOOK ME UNTIL JAN OF 2021 TO GET RESULTS OF LABS. THEN THEY CHARGED ME A $35.00 OFFICE VISIT WHEN ALL I DID WAS SPEAK TO HER. WAS NOT TOLD IT WOULD BE A CHARGE. I THEN HAD AN APPOINTMENT WITH DR. SCARBOROUGH IN JULY OF 2021, AS OF TODAY 10/19/21 I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THIS OFFICE, ALSO MY PHARMACY SENT THEM A REFILL REQUEST AND AS ON TODAY STILL NO REFILLS OR CALLS. VERY DISAPPOINTING WITH MEDICAL PRACTICE. NOT HOW YOU TREAT PATIENTS.
RecommendedDr. Scarsborough is not just a doctor but a friend, he would have been a success no matter what time period of life he practiced in, he’s not only professional but just so understanding of his patients and that’s an art that is lost it seems, he wants to know about you and your life, my life is absolutely better for knowing him and his entire staff!
Absolutely horrible customer service, the front desk is rude & is not interested in listening to a longtime patients dilemma. Contacted the front desk on behalf of my wife who is 5 months pregnant & is high risk. Needed a referral because of a change in insurance so we would not miss our next appointment. Instead of trying to work with us we were basically told too bad & said all they could do is a video conference next week. I am sorry you had a bad experience. Insurance carriers often require a referral to a specialist, or they will deny payment for those tests or services, and patients can be stuck with an enormous bill. In these challenging times, we are doing tele-visits to limit the risk of COVID exposure. I wish we could have gotten that visit in quicker than we did. He is like an "old" family doctor his staff is outstanding
Dr. Scarborough listens. He cares about the health and welfare of his patients, youngsters and oldsters. He’s a perfect example of a family practitioner. Both he and his staff are professional and trustworthy. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Scarborough and Family Life Medical to anyone.
I have been going to doctor Scarborough since the early 19 90s I can say he takes very good care of myself and my family. he is caring understanding and always gets to the bottom of a diagnosis. I also see Lauren and Lindsay I love them just like they they are a part of my family. and Jerry Lynn is always the best.
