I called to get a prescription refilled. Called the day before I went to make sure it was filled. Got there said it had been put back, told me it would be a 5-10 minute wait. Was there 45 min. Went up to the desk to ask if it would be done soon. They said it would be another 20 min wait. I don't mind the wait. Its the lack of communication. This isn't the first it's happened. This was the first time I complained

I just went in to pick up a Drs Note and I got told I need ID in order for them to give it to me when the nurse on call told me I can just go and pick it up never said or mentioned I need any sort of Identification, long story short the staff up front were really rude and made me wait at least 25 mins for them to give me my drs note and made it such a huge deal about giving me a note that was already made for me to pick up even after I told them it’s important and need it for my work place. I had a 2:15 PM appointment and was brought to the back and weighed , I was told there were 2 patients in from of me, but then left sitting in the room for almost 2 hours and never seen. I asked for updates First it was two patients ahead of me, then suddenly three. It felt like I was forgotten and just pushed aside. I drove 45 minutes from Porterville to Visalia, wasting my time, gas, and energy for absolutely nothing. I left without even being seen. I've been going to FHN for over 10 years now, but always going to your Oak St. location, but recently switched to the Mooney location, as it's closer to my home. I was there on 5/20/25, and spoke with my new PA, whose name I won't give here, but considering it was my first visit with him, would have expected a more thorough check up, than he gave, I actuallyspent more time with the receptionist, than him!
