Dr. Patel is the best primary care physician I have ever had.....and I'm 72 years. He is competent, patient, and a very good listener and has an extensive knowledge base...better than most doctors. I honestly cannot say enough good things about doctor Patel. He is the best! Will not go to any other primary as long as he is in practice. I am also a nurse and not easily impressed. Would not recommend. I saw this doctor a few years ago after experiencing sudden stomach tightness and bloat that was extremely awful and constant. He asked me to do a sit up and then proceeded to say I had some type of body dysmorphia. What I found out from an Emory radiologist was that I actually had a benign mucin appendix leak that had caused awful swelling and fluid in my tissues due to atrium health misdiagnosing me.
