My 11-year-old nephew went to get a shape up and trim. We were okay with the end product, but the owner of the shop was not. For free, he tweaked the hair a little bit more to his liking, and we were very happy with the results. We have been here before, and my nephew always comes out looking fresh.
Trim the sides keep the length = remove 3/4 of the length in the longest parts. If you're looking for a great generic cut add 3 more stars. if you want people who can listen or offer a comment before ignoring you and doing whatever they feel is best this isn't the place.
As always, I love my hair.
