The problem is simple… owner after owner has failed to CLEAN and stage the grocery store… à deep cleaning needs to be done.
I love their homemade salads in the deli. Especially the egg salad, I have never had better egg salad at any other deli in the burbs, or specialty delis in Chicago! The ham salad and spinach dip are great too. Update: Just tried their donuts for the first time since the new owners, and I was quite pleased: fresh, tasty and a good price. People very friendly and they have everything i need, my favorite place to do my groceries!!!! In and out if you are in a hurry!!! very easy to find everything you need !!!
I think it's worse, they don't have the prices and the cashier guesses them
