If you want to know what is wrong with you DO NOT GO HERE. It is days later from my appointment and they still can’t tell me what is wrong with me. Don’t know where they got their degree from but they tried to treat the flu(which I tested negative for) with antibiotics(you can’t treat a virus with antibiotics). I felt like they didn’t listen to my symptoms at all and just tried to call in as many medications as possible just to get money. I have never felt so ignored and overlooked by a doctors office. We've been impressed. Our regular PCP isn't open on the weekends. I had to have a quick emergency procedure done one weekend because of a medication reaction that could have been lethal. They even called me back in the next day to check and repack my wound. My own PCP messed up prescription drug interactions ... Twice! FFM caught the first one. I caught the second. So I'm looking for a new PCP and I told my wife that FFM is in the top 2 choices. I've taken other family members to FFM on the weekends as well. Great care. Frie... read more
I love Amanda Poe! She and Lester both are the very reasons that I chose Family First Medicine in Scottsboro. She is an awesome NP, she’s always attentive, she listens thoroughly, & asks the right questions to get to the root problem for the visit. She truly cares about your well being. Amanda is phenomenal at her job! It’s nice being under the care of someone dedicated to their work and the wellbeing of her patients.
Our visit was quick and efficient. Noelle at the front desk and Katie, the medical assistant, were exceptionally professional and caring. They helped my 4‑year‑old through the appointment without a single tear. She left smiling, thanks to their kindness and gentle approach. Although she is usually very anxious about doctor’s offices, this time she felt comfortable and at ease. I truly appreciate the staff and the wonderful care provided. Thank you. We got a call back the next day about results.
