This company tore my family apart. They told my family to abandon me if I didn’t follow their exact, in-patient recovery plan for an entire year. Instead of teaching them how to offer support and connection, they taught them to use my pain as a tool of control. That’s not recovery, that’s coercion. Contacting Family First was one of the best decisions we ever made. Every member of their team has been top-notch: from the first contact through the follow-up after the intervention. Mike was as invested and involved in the process as the team. We had tried doing our own family intervention after our loved one's first DUI to no avail. I went to Family First Intervention website and began a chat. I explained the situation and I am assuming the insurance I listed was a no go, they just ended the chat, no response or explanation! This is so inappropriate for so many reasons, people come for help and this could have pushed someone over the edge!!! Thank you for the response.
