Highly recommend Family Essentials Counseling. Very professional and caring, including the billing and front desk staff. I highly recommend Baylee Brown as a counselor. She is a wealth of knowledge, compassionate, and engaging. Very grateful!
Eli McDonald is a talented clinician who has done amazing work with my child. He has helped him develop a language for his emotions, to build resiliency, learn how to regulate his emotions, and tolerate distress and uncertainty. We are moving towards graduation now, and I will be forever grateful for this healing journey.
To anyone considering Family Essentials Counseling, please take the billing department complaints seriously—they are absolutely valid and the sole reason for this 1-star review. Annie K is an exceptional therapist. I’ve worked with several therapists over the past decade, and she is by far the best. If this review were based on her alone, I’d give five stars. We were waiting on my 7 year olds appointment when he saw the sign to leave a review and asked me to do so. When I did, I was shocked to see so many 1 star reviews. My son has been going here for awhile now and it's been life changing for him in our eyes. All the staff have been friendly, his therapist is phenomenal, and most importantly - our son looks forward to coming every week. My 9 year old son had just started counseling and was getting comfortable with his counselor after 4 or so sessions. We missed an appointment and I reached out the next week to explain that my phone had been shut off and I didn’t have a way to reach out to let them know what happened. I was told we were dropped as clients for no call no show. I get there are rules, but I was explaining a hardship that prevented me from reaching out and was told they dropped us as clients for missing that ONE appointment. My son is now strugg... read more
