A poor customer experience: Prior to entering, I paid a $33 co-pay for a bi-annual cleaning. Usually, payment is made after the visit- not here. Once I was in the office, the dentist refused to allow the hygienist to perform a "standard" cleaning, as this would have been "unethical" for her to perform. The reason for this was because they believed I had periodontal disease, a condition which affects 47.2% of the population over the age of 30, according to the CDC.
