My friend Deon told me about Mark last year. I called him on the phone to ask about a part and he made me feel that I was the only one he was concerned about. Started with a phone call, I was looking for someone to put a scooter (which was 90% assembled) together and do a tune-up. Mark was very snippy and unfriendly. I guess he didnt need the money. He hummed and howwed about doing it and was very negative about the whole job. I was in a bind and I talked him into doing the job and he said it will cost you, I didnt expect him to do it for free. I agree with bike girl. Mark at Family Cycles is one of the most friendly and honest individuals around. He has always gone out of his way to help me or anybody I have sent over there. As a good friend of mine says all the time - everybody should own a small business at least once in their life. Maybe then they would understand how hard it is to keep every customer that walks thru the door happy. After stumbling on this web site I couldnt believe what i was reading...who are these unhappy people Pink Ice and Charlie Brown? I have known Mark for over 20 years and have done business with him since 2006. He is one of the kindest people I know and will help just about anyone. Family Cycle Sales donates a door prize to virtually every poker run or charity ride in the county. I have known him to help out of town bikers who are stranded here and he didnt even charge them! I believe that name "Family Cycle" is in itself the only friendly thing about this place. I can say that they do offer cheap bike services but with little or no customer service involved!! I almost felt that they were annoyed with every customer that came in. I will never use this shop again!
