Couldn't have felt any less important to Karen. No show for our first appointment with zero communication before hand about her being stuck out of town. Double booked me for another appointment and asked me to reschedule. waited around for 12 minutes for the rescheduled appointment with zero communication again until after I had already left the virtual waiting room. Karen Eggers has been a great therapist for me. My goal has been to set better boundaries, and in a few sessions, I have made so much progress.
saw the reviews but she was still the first one my eap found that fit my schedule, so i decided to give her a try. she cancelled my first 2 appointments a few hours before each one, and i don’t feel like giving a 3rd chance when it’s my time, energy, and mental health being wasted.
I had told my primary care doctor that I needed to talk to someone, I felt like I was losing my mind! He referred me to Karen Eggers, I was very nervous about my first appointment, thinking about it all the way while riding the tram, I had no idea how I was going to open up to this stranger; however……. She was great for me, we only got to have about 8 sessions and hadn’t got into the deep stuff yet before I moved to Alabama!
