RecommendedFor the second time this year, My mom has had the occasion and need for this hospital’s service. On both occasions, the ER staff have been SECOND TO NONE. This time around and upon being admitted, we were met by Hope Stone NP, who explained, in detail, all that we could expect. RecommendedThe people here on the cardiac floor two are just the best!
7 hour wait time for a COVID patient waiting who has severe lung issues. Seriously considering calling an ambulance to transport the patient from the PUBLIC WAITING ROOM to a hospital that will actually treat the patient. I guess if you are older with a serious underlying lung issue, you aren't worth their time but if you die I'm quite certain you will readily accept the big Covid payment the hospital will receive.

RecommendedMy husband had an appendectomy there yesterday after a short wait time in the ER, and we cannot praise the staff enough!! Our experience there was amazing. Dr. Fox done a remarkable job on the surgery, and all of the nurses assigned to us were outstanding and super nice! ❤️

RecommendedI went into preterm labor a few days ago and I was really nervous and I had the absolute BEST care from the ER staff, Labor & Delivery staff nurses and Dr. Vick! Excellent excellent excellent care! I spent two days in the hospital. I will recommend this hospital to everyone I know! Thank you for caring so well!

RecommendedIn the wee hours of Saturday morning, I was taken by ambulance to Fort Sanders. I was having a stroke and they were able to administer the “ miracle” drug that reversed The effects of the stroke to a great degree and broke up the clot. Despite the hospital being overflowing with COVID-19 patients, I was given such great care even if I had to spend 36 hours in the ER due to a lack of bed space. The nursing staff there are phenomenal and many were working 13 and 14 hour shifts. Fort Sanders is and will always be my first choic... read more
RecommendedWas very different than 3 months ago I got right in and lots of more safety procedures where used :now 4 hours + to get in ,I seen a lot of that which wasn’t safe for any one .Im sure they are doing their best but there’s more they could do .wear gloves ,change them , or use sanitizer between Patient .. and most people that worked in emergency room was rude .
