SCC is the best thing that has ever happened to us. I have read a couple of reviews that were negative and that is NOT the experience we have had. I grew up in a mainstream denominational church that was not of the bible. I have learned more about the bible in 10 years than I have in my entire life. I think church is what you make it. You don't go to receive, you go to serve. If you go because you expect to get, get, get....then you are in the wrong spot. We are very close to our small group, our fellow volunteers and pastor... read more

Wonderful Place to Worship and Learn!! – I have been a member of Savannah Christian Church for 33 Years, and I have witnessed first hand it's tremendous growth. I have to admit that when I first attended the new church at the Henderson Campus I was overwhelmed at the size and thought wow this is just too big, But once I was inside settled in my seat, the lights dimmed and I felt as if it was just me and God and The Pastor and the Worship team! I worshiped and sang just for God and I listened to the teachings as if they were ... read more

Don't miss the best - Jesus – My family and I have attended SCC for 10 plus years. Yes SCC is a big church. My experience is, if you will jump into regular attendance, bible study, small groups and serve in at least one ministry, you will soon begin to know and love the church body. To receive God’s blessing at any church, you first and foremost need a relationship with Christ. That is what SCC is all about – “Leading people to a life changing experience with Jesus Christ”. Christ will do the cleaning up. The sinners will al... read more

Terrible Church – Savannah Christian Church is a Mega Church. You either get lost in the shuffle or trod forward trying as you live, learn, and grow through Christ. The leaders are judgmental hypocrites, and they don't even realize it. I went through some very trying times and never received any support from the Church. My griefs with SCC: 1. When I was a young High School student begging for some help and guidance, the Youth Group asked me not participate because of my sin. 2. I came back to SCC to worship with my parents w... read more

Too Big for their own good – We attended church there for several years. Was one of the original families when they launched the east campus. My mother in law started to attend with us. She unfortunately passed away, and we informed several people from the church about this. Not a single card, phone call, or a word came our way. We were so hurt that our "family in Christ" wouldn't open their hearts when we needed them most. We stopped going to church there. 8 months later we ran into a supposed "friend" and she said that she... read more

Proud Sinners – my husband and I were asked not to attend as is because they thought she was a distraction. Just make sure your sin is pride like theirs or you won't fit into the great church mold.
