When installers say you're looking too closely when asking for a fix, it's time to examine everything. My Family Carpet experience was good only with the sale and the carpet. Installation of over 230 yards in 4 rooms and 2 stair cases at a cost of over $11,000 was horrible where craftsmanship was needed -- seams, stairs and room transitions. LONG REVIEW! Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience with Family Carpet. The selection process went well and Mike was helpful when choosing a carpet. When he came out to measure, he was prompt and flexible. When Rodney came out to install, he asked if we were adding baseboard (which I had outside to paint). He mentioned the carpet was “short” but the baseboard would cover it. He also left with LOTS of extra carpet for us to “hold onto in case we needed patchwork done due to stains”.
