Warning: Our family has enjoyed seeing seen Dr. Chin and Dr. Royer at Family Care North in Columbus, GA for several years. The Georgia Department of Corporations lists Dr. Royer as the CEO and Dr. Chin as the CFO and Secretary. The office is sterile and not un-inviting. Financial policies are conspicuously posted informing you payment is expected at the time of service. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Although Dr. Chin is very nice the way the office is handled is ridiculous! The offices are dingy and dirty with tacky paper signs up everywhere about your phone and where you can't park...crazy. The staff never seems to know what's going on and the wait is always long, they won't call in a prescription or refill for you. They make you come in and pay $2 and wait just to get the script to go fill it somewhere else! . I went in the last time and had to wait over 20 minutes for them ... read more
I would not recommend this facility to anyone. I have found that the staff is grossly incompetent and rude to patients. The doctors (I use the term loosely) only seem to be worried about how much money they can get from you and not about the welfare or pain management of their patients. I am military man who is a concerned father and husband who wants only the best for his family. I suggest if you are thinking of going there to look for a different facility.
Dr Royer is fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about him, He takes his time with his patients,listens to concerns and acts in a professional caring manner. We are so lucky to have found him to meet our medical needs!
I'm 27 years old, a young single woman, struggle trying to hold a FT job and school. I had been there once recently since I had lived out of town for 5 years. The younger girl in the office was helpful and I truly did like Dr. Chin, she seemed to actually "listen and understand" and give personalized feedback instead of just hearing me talk and throw out some general prescription like most busy doctors. This is the worse doctors office I ever been 2 in my life. The staff is fake and so r the doctors. The office is nasty. I went to get my blood done and i saw the clamps that they use for a pap (about 3 of them) all sitting in one bowl in the sink. Im glad I wasnt getting a pap done that day. if you were wise YOU WOULD GO SOMEWHERE ELSE HONESTLY!!!!!!!! I gave it one star because it did not give me an option to put 0 stars
Stay away from this doctor's office! The staff is extremely rude, the doctors are incompetent, and when it comes to having referrals put through you might as well forget it. It is a patient's nightmare!
