The team at FCN is friendly and responsive and I feel valued and listened to when I interact with the front desk staff, nurses and providers.
The entire care team including my ARNP is exceptional. Not a take this pill and call me later kind of place at all. The practitioners are quite holistic in terms of looking at a person as an interaction of bodily processes and potential symptoms, but doing a thorough exploration (not needless tests or imaging) with an expertise to take appropriate action. On May 23, 2025, my 17-year-old daughter was denied care at Family Care Network Urgent Care in Bellingham (3130 Squalicum Pkwy) despite having valid insurance—HMA (primary) and CHAMPVA (secondary). At check-in, staff asked her what branch of the military her father served in, then said “we don’t do military insurance—don’t you have a VA clinic you can go to?” All of her coverage was on file, yet they told her to leave and handed her a list of other providers.
