My son was seen in February. Suddenly I receive a bill for almost $500. Someone decided to go into my son's file and change a billing code in July that took off what my insurance paid. If you ask me that sounds like insurance fraud. They were hoping my son would just pay the bill. If I was anybody in Dahlonega I would never go back to this office again because they're probably gonna scam you to.
I’m updating my review because Family Care Dahlonega has since reached out and made an effort to help resolve the issue I originally had. My initial experience involved significant frustration with communication and billing. I had a yearly physical and blood work completed, but there was an issue with my billing information that resulted in my insurance company not receiving the claim properly. I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Family Care Dahlonega. The biggest issue has been the complete lack of communication, customer support, and willingness to actually help resolve a problem. I had my yearly physical and blood work completed through their office. Unfortunately, my billing information was apparently lost or not properly submitted, resulting in my insurance company never receiving the necessary billing information.
