First I wanna start by saying thank you to Family Boating and Marine Centers for making by boat purchase very easy. It all started with Brad who responded to my Facebook inquiry about a used 2018 Sportsman 227 masters. Brad was extremely quick with his response and it was even his day off. He quickly put me in contact with Ken Robinson who talked to me at length about the boat I was asking about. I had an issue with certain charges on the invoice for the servicing of my Pathfinder which I bought from FB. Once my issue was brought to the owner's attention, he resolved it to my complete satisfaction. I will be happy to continue with FB regarding my boat and engine needs.
I will never do business with Family Boating (FB) again and here’s why: Around March 2022, I ordered a 24-foot Pathfinder from FB at the boat show at the Fairgrounds. I took delivery of the boat in August 2022. A few weeks prior to delivery, FB inspected my trade-in boat and told me they would give me $40,000 for the boat. However, about 5 days before delivery of the Pathfinder, I was told by FB that the owner (Paul) reneged on the trade-in commitment and would not take the boat in trade because the engine had too many hours... read more
I purchased a brand new 2023 Pathfinder 2600 middle of last year (2023). Everyone there was fantastic to work with and made the process as seamless as it could be. First service was taken care of faster than they indicated it would be. I recently had a couple of very minor items to take care of prior to heading out on a long boating trip.
