Good pizza and fresh pasta!

I am a big fan of this plaza and the surrounding businesses. My husband and I have made it a mission to try all pizza spots in town so this was next on our list. We made reservations and I'm glad we did as this is an extremely small space. We were seated at the bar where they have their kitchen. Generally we don't like sitting at the bar but it was nice to watch the crew make food. It's impressive what they can do with this small space. Server went from cleaning off tables to stocking a fridge then put basil leaves straight onto the pizza as it came out of the oven without washing hands and putting on gloves which is required by AZ RTE laws. None of them were wearing gloves at all touching the pizzas as they were cutting or serving them. No Food safety awareness here at all. Reply to falora: I highly doubt that considering the employee had the audacity to then eat the pizza in the kitchen in front of us laughing. Which is another health code violation. Repl... read more
