We are located along the Kern River. Instead of one building containing all of our rooms we have separate duplex cottages with fireplaces, arranged over 12 acres. Always a pleasure staying here as I do a few times a year or at least once annually. The pricing is fair and the location is great I prefer the waterfront rooms and the staff are more than helpful. I want to add after reading others reviews remember you are on the Kern River there will be bugs at night as to be expected in this environment...

Heaven on earth! We stopped here on a long road trip and it felt like coming home. The owner welcomed us with her menagerie of magical office cats. The room was beautiful, clean, cozy, with a well stocked kitchenette. We brought our own travel kitty who was very comfortable in the space! You can hear the river from the room, my boyfriend woke up at sunrise to fish and we could walk back and forth from The river to the room with ease. I love this place and cannot wait to return
