Went to go play basketball and all the courts were closed down for pickleball and jazz dance class. Two of the basketball courts were being used for pickle ball after multiple pickleball courts were just built and none of them are being used at this time. The area designated for dance class was also available at the time they were on the courts. Before our visit i called ahead of time to ask if the pool was open to the public to swim. The woman said yes, I said so kids and adults can come to swim she said yes and hung up. We arrived and paid. It was me and 4 small children. We only stayed 1 hr before I decided to pack up and leave mind you I drove all the way from lawrenceburg. The staff was very unfriendly, they asked if we would leave the smaller pool because some kids were doing swim lesson's. Totally understandable, we left and went to the bigger pool. On basketball courts during rec basketball Siblings of teams playing should not be allowed to play on the courts when they didn't pay and not leaving room for someone who did. Paid 12$ to watch rec basketball when me and my daughter just wanted to play basketball
Woodford Theater is amazing! Just saw 'A Raisin in the Sun.' The actors were phenomenal!!!!! All community theater, but ranks up with professionals! Put this on your list of great things to do.
