This place is nice, but there are ups and downs. My mother is a resident at Laurel Lakes, she is NPO which means she can’t drink or have food by mouth. So she gets tube fed. Apparently a new nurse went into my mom’s room and gave her cup of apple juice. Thank god she is ok, but I think a nurse should know who is NPO or who is not. This is serious, other times they leave water with in my mom’s reach and she has drank the water many of times.
