My security deposit that my lease stated was refundable and I would get back was nonrefundable per the new apartment manager (The third manager since I’ve been living there a year) She told me they automatically take the Security deposit for cleaning, even though I had a cleaner then when I moved in. Lived there for a year, didn’t really have a good experience. I asked about the extra expenses over the base rent beforehand and they told me it’d be around $1477 with $2 extra for pest control, but when we got the bill it always came $1700+ ( including water and electricity) The water and sewer charges are so high, always $100+ and the electricity charges were high too. Office staff is awful they are never here during office hours. I am standing at the office the alarm has been going off for 10 minutes and no one has come to check on the office. My daughter’s apartment flooded with water coming through the light fixtures and breaker box. The ceiling is bowing and looks like it is about to fall in. The fire department turned off the electricity. When we returned to her apartment to this morning maintenance had turned the power back on and were running dehumidifiers. This complex was great when I first moved in back in 2025, The office management team was great. They seem like they cared but management keeps changing left and right they don’t care about the noise complaint you make I should be able to sleep peacefully without having to deal with loud neighbors. My son should be able to go outside without having to smell the smoke a marijuana. It is not safe to pop Fireworks in the city with having no rain it could hit the grass and cause a fire.
