Absolutely awful. Poor excuse for Mexican! This place is absolutely the worst excuse for Mexican I've ever been to. My flour tortilla shell was so dry and old, it had cracked open so my entire burrito was exposed before it even got to my table! The service was awful- it took over 1.5 hrs for two of us to get food (not during peak hours). We didn't even bother with the drinks after our stale chips, craptastic excuse of a meal and delayed service. Never again.
Awful, just awful I'm sorry, this is the worst excuse for Tex-Mex/Mexican food I've had. for a place with two menu items in the name, one would think that the fajitas and margaritas would be, well, good. They're not. Anyone who has ever had decent food of this fare - and I realize that's nearly impossible in Boston - would be stunned at how disappointing the food here is. The atmosphere is fun, and the prices aren't very expensive. But then what you get isn't worth half of inexpensive.
Fun place!! This place is great. all the writing on the walls. the food portions are quite large. the chicken quesedilla is great. also the atmosphere is what makes this place special, you feel like you're in a great mexican place!
yum This place isn't upscale, but their fajitas and margaritas are yummy. It's a great place for sharing - you order your fajitas on a slip of paper and check off how many people it's for, and they bring all of the fixings on one tray. I especially recommend the chicken fajitas. They also do margaritas by the pitcher, which is fabulous. Definitely a fun place to go with a group.
Solid, affordable food downtown If you're looking for upscale dining, Fajitas and Ritas is not the place for you. If, however, you want to get a cood amount of food and an affordable price Fajitas and Ritas wil satisfy.
