Faith's Lodge in Danbury, WI (Child Loss Foundation) is absolutely stunning. Beyond the property, the staff and programming, and the hope and healing were magnificent. Highly recommend.
So wonderful to connect, relax with other Mom's with similar losses. Much time for reflection and discussion. Yoga, massage, meditation and crafts helped compliment the group and individual therapy. Staff and food were excellent as well. Such a wonderful experience along my grief journey!
I found Faith's Lodge to be very healing. It was amazing to connect with other parents that just " get it " We all have our own journey with our grief but connecting with other parents who are dealing the loss of their child if very comforting and hard to describe unless you have been through it. The Lodge was so calming the grounds are beautiful. Staff was also amazing. I have made life long friends with the parents I met on my weekend. We laughed and cried together in a safe welcoming environment.Hoping to come back again.
Our experience at Faith’s Lodge was just what we needed. The facility and grounds are gorgeous. We found peace walking the trails, connection with the other couples, relaxation, and time and space to sit with our grief. I would highly recommend to anyone considering attending a retreat. The staff even went above and beyond to accommodate our needs when we forgot some essential items at home.
