Our experience at Faith’s Lodge was just what we needed. The facility and grounds are gorgeous. We found peace walking the trails, connection with the other couples, relaxation, and time and space to sit with our grief. I would highly recommend to anyone considering attending a retreat. The staff even went above and beyond to accommodate our needs when we forgot some essential items at home.
Oh, what a wonderful few days. I just attended the retreat for parents of children who overdosed. It was so scary to do this trip. Meet people and delve into my feelings about the loss of my daughter. However this place brought me much joy, peace and new friends that are already like family. We laughed and cried together. The cooking class, yoga, meditation and massage were just the bonuses to this little trip. I will definitely be back to Faiths Lodge to make more wonderful memories and enjoy the beautiful grounds. Faiths Lodge was the perfect place for my husband and I to visit after losing our son. We had the opportunity to meet some amazing couples who have been through very similar losses as ours which made us feel less alone in our grief journey. The staff was wonderful, the lodge was clean, the food was great, and the experience was even better.
72 acres of pure bliss. Although the tears flowed throughout the weekend it was a very relaxing and one of a kind experience. To know that other parents have went through the similar situations. Not only brought comfort but more of an understanding that we are not alone in this journey. As we all shared our stories a bounding experience took place. I just got back from a Bereaved Moms Retreat here. What an amazing place! I lost my 27 year old daughter 3 years ago (So Nicole’s review below is incorrect. They have different retreats for different age groups. 2 of the moms had lost sons over 30.) and was referred to Faiths Lodge by 2 different couples that have been here before.
